are hereby invited to participate in the Nordic Youth Invitational Tournament, at Olsvikåsen High School, in Bergen, Norway, March 1nd – March 3rd, 2019.

Play will commence at Friday March 1st at 6 pm, and the prize ceremony is scheduled for Sunday March 3rd at 3.30 p.m.

System FIDE Dutch Swiss individual, one group for all

10 rounds Blitz (3 minutes + 2 seconds)

10 rounds Rapid (20 minutes + 10 seconds)

Participation Each Nordic Federation may send a team of 4 players, with at least one player of each gender. Maximum number of participants: 24 Player Group Players must be born in 1999, 2000 or 2001. All play in one group. Score table A combined score table will be calculated, from:
Blitz games: 1 point for win, 0,5 for draw, 0 for loss

Rapid Games: 2 points for win, 1 for draw, 0 for loss

A team score will also be calculated and published.

All games will be FIDE rated

Prizes are yet to be announced

The event will be organized by the Olsvikåsen Chess Club, in close Co-operation with the Norwegian Youth Chess Federation (USF, ).

Chief arbiter will be IA Tom Eriksen, Sotra Norway.
